Description: Its a short story for an already written feature in the same genre (deja vu drama) which was produced by the writer director to show she can tell a story in short form. Synopsis : As he held his dying brother in his arms, and looked up into the eyes of the drunk driver who killed him, all “JJ” could see was a black man holding a flask of bourbon. Prejudice and hatred haunted “JJ” for the next thirty years. Until one evening as he was tallying the receipts from his restaurant, a black man walked in to apply for a job. Every instinct told “JJ” to thrown him out, but there was something about this eager and sincere young man that gradually pierced through “JJ’s” prejudice. Some strange coincidences hint at a relationship neither of them fully understand.
