Description: We are producing a documentary about the Guarani Aquifer, a huge water resource in South America that contains enough water to sustain the world's population for over 200 years. As water shortages affect us all in the future, the Guarani Aquifer could be a lifeline for us all. But pollution, corruption and mismanagement are destroying this precious resource and threatening to throw the region into conflict. We are producing this documentary to shed light on this never-told story. We believe it’s a lot harder for governments and corporations to destroy this resource if we’re shinning a light in their faces! This short video introduces the project, and us, but we need funding to get down to South America and shoot a feature-length documentary. We will also be producing a short web series about the process behind the documentary.
